We offer boutique tech consulting: discovery, web applications, AI and agent work wired into systems of record, integrations, and advertising surfaces that convert. Capability detail lives on the Services pages.
We do not run a marketplace, sell physical inventory, or take payment for products billed on other domains (for example RefundAI). Prices on invoices and public retainers are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Checkout on lumenyl.com uses PayFast (card or Instant EFT)—a private pay link or signed-in portal checkout. Some invoices are paid by bank EFT to the Lumenyl business account instead of PayFast. Optional retainers renew until cancelled at the end of the paid period.
By paying you accept these terms and conditions, including the delivery, cancellation, and refund policies. PayFast processes the transaction; Lumenyl remains responsible for the sale, support, and delivery of the services.
Lumenyl (Pty) Ltd does not sell, ship, or dropship physical goods. Clients pay for professional services only—quoted consulting, implementation, and retainers.
Delivery is electronic: work is provided through the client portal, email, shared repositories, workshops, and scheduled calls. There is no courier or postal dispatch and no shipping fee.
The timeline for each engagement is set in the accepted quote or statement of work. Work starts on the later of (a) signed commercial paper and (b) receipt of any required deposit. We confirm delivery of a milestone by writing (portal note or email).
If a client delay (access, content, or decisions) holds up delivery, dependent dates shift by the same period. Product subscriptions on other domains are not sold on this PayFast merchant.
Public retainers and catalog packages renew until you cancel at the end of the paid period. Cancel from the client portal Billing page or by emailing us before the period ends. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not void the current paid period.
Quoted project work follows the signed statement of work. Either party may stop future work as that agreement allows. Website terms do not create a consulting relationship by themselves.
Unpaid draft invoices may be voided before payment. After PayFast has taken payment, cancellation of unused future work is a refund request under the refund policy—not a chargeback.
Where the Consumer Protection Act or ECTA gives a natural-person consumer a cooling-off or cancellation right that cannot be excluded, that right still applies. Mid-market company engagements are governed by the signed paper.
Refunds are processed by Lumenyl from the admin desk, not self-serve. Email hello@lumenyl.com with your invoice or payment reference. PayFast charges (card or Instant EFT) are refunded through PayFast to the original method. Invoices paid by bank EFT to the Lumenyl business account are refunded by electronic transfer to the account that paid. A refund will not exceed the amount originally paid.
We process valid refund requests as soon as we can, typically within 30 days of a complete request, if we cannot deliver the paid services, if you were charged in error or twice, or if unused prepaid time remains after a cancellation that the signed paper allows. Cancelling a retainer at the end of the paid period does not refund that period.
Fees for work already delivered—accepted milestones, time already used in a paid retainer period, and non-cancellable third-party costs we committed with your approval—are not refundable, except where South African consumer law requires otherwise.
Pay pages are payment requests, not VAT tax invoices. Books stay in your accountant pack. Chargebacks should be a last resort; contact us first so we can refund through PayFast or EFT and issue a receipt.
How we collect and use personal information is in the Privacy policy at https://lumenyl.com/privacy. Invoice checkout uses PayFast as the only non-Google payment operator.
Content on this site is for general information. The public site scan and any admin assist drafts provide directional feedback based on publicly reachable signals or workspace summaries you already store with us. The scan is a surface check of one page plus well-known paths—not a pentest, security audit, POPIA opinion, professional certification, or guarantee of outcomes.
Where a language model or rules-based scorer produces text or a score, do not treat that output as human-authored professional work. You remain responsible for how you use scan results or drafts. Assist tools never send email on their own.
You warrant that you have the rights to submit contact messages, scan URLs, and any other material you send us. We may refuse, remove, or delete content that is abusive, unlawful, or infringing. To report material that should be removed, email hello@lumenyl.com.
Do not abuse the contact form or scan—including automated scraping of our APIs, submitting URLs you are not authorized to assess, or attempting to disrupt the service. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic.
Paid consulting work is governed by a separate statement of work or agreement. Creating a portal account with Google sign-in does not grant access to files or invoices until we attach you to a client. A paid invoice does not change the SOW.
The site and scan are provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumenyl disclaims warranties and limits liability for damages arising from use of the site or scan results. Nothing in these website terms limits liability that South African law does not allow to be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If a dispute arises, contact us in good faith first. If it remains unresolved, the courts of competent jurisdiction in South Africa may hear the matter.
