Sage Excel ingest, executive KPIs, and tokenized TV screens for Visual Impact Studio — Johannesburg and Cape Town sales income without a second system of record.
Problem
Leadership and the floor ran on Sage Excel exports. Spreadsheets were the source of truth, but they were not on a TV and not comparable across Johannesburg, Cape Town, and the fiscal year.
Approach
We built a Next.js + Supabase app that parses the VI SA Sales Income Report, stores branch × category × month, and drives an admin executive view plus two tokenized TV displays.
Outcome
Management and employee-floor screens refresh from the latest upload, with FY selector, YoY and forecast tiles, and no Sage API dependency.
